Founder's Story

The Neuro Training School was created by Gemma Eves. Her story in this field began in 2001 when she trained as a massage therapist in Australia.

She began her career with a focus on hands-on care, later working internationally across clinics and wellness settings. Over time, she became known for her work with people living with neurological conditions and complex needs.

As her clinical experience grew, Gemma recognised a significant gap within traditional massage and wellness education. Many therapists wanted to support clients with neurological conditions but lacked specialist training and confidence. This shaped the direction of her career.

She went on to create specialist educational programs designed to help therapists work safely, respectfully, and professionally with complex presentations.

After years of building NeuroMassage in the United Kingdom, Gemma partnered with her brother Josh to establish Neuro Training School Australia. Together, they set out to make specialist neurological education more accessible to therapists, carers, and wellness professionals across Australia.

Gemma believes Australia has an opportunity to lead in neurological wellness and inclusive care. The demand for evidence-informed, accessible support continues to grow, alongside the need for education that helps practitioners work confidently with people living with long-term conditions, disabilities, injuries, and complex needs.

Neuro Training School was founded to help meet this need through practical teaching, professional standards, and inclusive education grounded in real-world clinical experience.

The vision is simple. Every practitioner deserves the knowledge to support clients with confidence. Every client deserves care that respects their condition, comfort, and wellbeing.
