Accessibility Statement

Introduction

At NeuroMassage Training School, we believe that education should be genuinely available to everyone, not just in theory, but in practice.

We know that access needs can vary widely, and sometimes it’s hard to know whether a course will truly work for you. That’s why we design all of our training with flexibility, clarity, and real-world support in mind. And if you need something different? Just ask. We’re a people-first business, and we’ll do our best to help.

Whether you live with chronic illness, process information in your own way, juggle caregiving, or need time and space to learn,  you’re welcome here.

Format & Flexibility

All course content is self-paced and flexible, so you can work through it in a way that suits your energy levels, life schedule, and learning style.

You can pause, revisit modules anytime, and request deadline extensions without any penalty or pressure.

Support for Learning Difficulties

We actively support learners with specific learning difficulties, including dyslexia, ADHD, working memory challenges, and other cognitive differences.

Here’s how:

  • No timed assessments or live pressure, all learning is self-paced, with no time limits
  • Written content is clear, plain English  and often available in both visual and text-only formats
  • Key information is summarised visually with colour-coded sections and diagrams
  • Video transcripts and audio options let learners choose the format that works best for them
  • Chunked content: lessons are broken into small sections with clear navigation, so it’s easy to pick up where you left off
  • Optional printable note guides and checklists to support memory and processing
  • We welcome alternative submissions for tasks (e.g., a bullet-point plan instead of an essay)

If you need extra support, like voice notes, screen-reader PDFs, a video summary, or extended time we’re happy to help. Just let us know what would make it easier for you to learn.

Screen Reader Compatibility

All PDF course materials are formatted for screen reader use and include:

  • Selectable, structured text (not image-based)
  • Proper heading structure and logical reading order
  • Alt text for all images and diagrams

We’ve tested compatibility with:

  • JAWS (Windows)
  • NVDA (Windows)
  • VoiceOver (Apple/macOS/iOS)
  • TalkBack (Android)
  • Narrator (Windows)

If you need a PDF version of any material, just email us, we’ve got it ready.

Captions & Transcripts

  • All video lessons include closed captions
  • Full written transcripts are provided for every video and audio file, formatted for easy screen reader access or printing

Neuro-Inclusive Design

Our courses are designed with neurodivergent learners in mind:

  • Clear, straightforward language
  • Visual aids and colour-coded content
  • Trauma-aware and sensory-considerate structure
  • Consistent layout and interface to reduce cognitive load

Additional Support

  • You’re invited to share any access or support needs at enrolment or anytime during the course.
  • We’re happy to offer alternative formats, extended access, or 1:1 communication support,  just reach out.
  • Our team has training in inclusive communication and will always approach your request with respect, privacy, and care.

Accessibility isn’t an add-on, It’s how we do things.

And we’re always learning, so if there’s something we’ve missed or a way we can do better, please tell us.
